Deaf Services Center Inc. (DSC) is the premiere “go-to” agency in the state of Ohio for essential programs and services for the nearly 800,000 Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind children, youth and adults who make Ohio their home.
Our work takes on added urgency when we realize that over 70% of the children, youth and adults we serve have household incomes at or below the U. S. poverty level.
Babies born with hearing loss receive the essential services they need at the most crucial part of their lives through our Early Intervention programs.
Children and youth ages 7-18 are able to experience a week of our OYO Summer Camp that teaches essential life skills and encourages self-sufficiency and personal responsibility.
Youth and adults are able to receive essential job and career services through our Career Options and Employment Services programs.
Deaf and hard of hearing people have access to the vital communications assistance provided by our American Sign Language classes.

$60 – Helps Underwrite The Cost For A Low-income Individual To Attend An American Sign Language Class
$100 – Provides 2 Hours Of Supported Employment Services Training To Help A Job-seeker Secure Employment
$250 – Provides Scholarship Support To Allow A Child Or Youth From A Low-income Household To Attend A Week Of Summer Camp
$500 – Helps Expand Our American Sign Language (Asl) Classes To Ensure Access To Vital Communications Skills

We work with a large group of respected community partners and collaborators on a state-wide basis to keep our overhead and operating costs low while maximizing the number of people we serve.
