Deaf Services Center (DSC) is seeking a full-time scheduling coordinator. Coordinators thrive in a fast-paced environment to perform one of the most integral tasks for the interpreting department. Applicants must be able to perform various duties such as answering a multi-line phone system, outlook email, data entry, and assistance with coordinating schedules for staff interpreters as well as service providers.
Office hours 8:30a – 5p Monday – Thursday and 8:00a-4:00p Friday.
This job is hybrid. Interested candidates will be required to train in person at DSC’s central location (215 N. Front St., Suite 240 Columbus, OH 43215).
Job Duties:
- Accurately and timely enters all service requests into the scheduling system, post, email blast, and/or offer assignments to available contractors, and maintain staff schedules
- Follows all procedures and reports any errors or issues
- Works with management to fix, develop, and/or enhance procedures
- Supports service providers with any necessary documentation needed for assignments and questions related to the assignments
- Follow confidentiality of all customers, consumers, service providers, and staff
- Maintains up to date information on customers, consumers, and service providers (including staff)
Interested candidates should possess the following:
- Be familiar with a multi-line phone system
- Possess exceptional customer service skills
- Possess time management skills
- Be organized and detail-oriented
- Knowledgeable of various computer programs and app (including zoom and teams’ platforms)
- Works well as a member of the team
- Able to multi-task
- Fluent and/or willing to learn ASL
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- AAS or Higher (preferred)
- Knowledge of Interpreter Role (preferred)
- Two years office experience
- Excellent communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with Microsoft office, excel, and outlook
- The ability to work well with others, while maintaining the goals of the agency

Compensation:
Salary: $19-$22 hourly (based on education and experience)
